London calling..

Well - we made it to London, wich is qiute a miracle. We started the morning with the last packing and cleaning. Around 10am we were ready to go and just as we were wondering how to get to the station with all of our many many bags, our host offered to walk up with us. We took that offer and after a brief trip down to the River, we all went to the staition were we waited paintiently for the train to London - with our many many bags...

Our luggage :-)

How we managed to get 3 large (and i mean large!) suitcases, 2 small trolleys, a backpak, a computerbag, a handbag, a pushchair and 2 children on the train in time i still dont uderstand. While i tried to get us settelt at our seats wich were places at the opposite end of the coach (of course) Troels tried to make space for our lage suitcase and the pushchair... This resultet in an announcement over the speaker stating the the puchchair and the big black suitcases blocking til doors had to be removed... Ehhh.. Jaaaa... But were to???

A that moment we met the first of three very very sweet angels! Her name were Sara and she offered to help with the suitcases and the pushchair and startet making space so that we could keep some of our luggage close by. It was during this we met her friend Heidi who, it turns out, was/is danish! After this we were invited to sit in the last empty seat at their table -  an offer we (Troels) gladly accept since we only have 2 seats to share the 4 of us...

We had a very nice trip - the girls were sweet, they offered crackers and chokolate to Vila and Sejr were his charming self. Troels gots som wine and a glas of beer while i relaxed in the seats behind them. During the trip we learned that the Girls - The 3. weas Catherine were are also getting of at Kings Cross. Wich were very very lucky for us since we had no idea how to manage all of our stuf...  They must have thougth we were crazy bringing that much luggage - we did. In spite of all they toke it upon them selves to help us getting all the way the hotel!

They must have felt sorry for us - that crazy danish family with no sence of logistics at all - but we were and are still incredibly gratefull. I have no idea how we would have gotten to the hotel let alone out of Kings Cross. They were like Charlies angels comming to the rescue! There just when you need them the most! They helped us so much - even carried ouer huge siutcases up the stairs (of course there were no lifts). I mean who does this for a couple of starngers now a day?

It was that kind of thing that never happens - And we thank you allot!
